Its not everyday you see a dog fly out the window of a car when driving down the highway.
Consequently I will have forever imprinted on my brain the image of this dog sliding across the highway on his butt with the most terrified look on his face.
The dog’s owner said he was fine.
ps - I should point out that it happened on a REALLY sharp turn on the highway to Klamath Falls.
I wonder if i should feel guilty for looking the other way when the homeless are begging for money
I have a theory. Its a theory about people and their music. I believe (at this point in time) that there are two general types of people when it comes to music appreciation.
Poets - People who love lyrics. They love music for what the musician says in the lyrics. These people love music for the messages musician’s weave into their songs. They appreciate music on an intellectual level,...
I love programming. Truely. I enjoy the challenge and the success when you finally get it. But this VB.Net app I’m doing for a project is really kicking my ass.
Damn databases >_<
You can really tell that your brain is completely fried when you start calling ‘donuts’ ‘cookies’ without even realizing it.

Oh how you made my day, muffin. With your lemony sweetness and subtle poppyseed undertones. The day is brighter now that I have consumed you. And the fact you were a gift makes you doubly sweet, though I would pay any price for your delectable contents. In this time of distress, the joy you bring should be shared around the world!…or at least campus. Carry on, Lemon-poppyseed muffin. Carry...

I thought it would be appropriate to post this link that provides information on both sides of the argument, and gives many citations from government sources. Serves the purpose of my Group Dynamics class, and educating others on myths, misconceptions, and benefits. One benefit being taxation and regulation. Enjoy ^_^
Here I am. Waiting. Waiting for a boot cd to finish downloading. A boot cd that will hopefully recover the 40+ GBs of my life from my hard drive. And so I wait. I wander around the internets in eager anticipation for this wonderful disk to complete so I can leave this temporary linux environment to see if I can recover my files. Until then, I can do nothing. Just wait. *twitch twitch* *dies*
The Driver's Seat
peterwknox: At 23 I may not be or feel “mature” but the biggest progress I’ve made in my life, and what I see many other people around me (of all ages) struggling with, is realizing that I can control how things out of my control affect me.… That quote, When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead, has more truth to it than we like to think. You alone are in control of how You...

Adventures @ Subway - Part 1
The Bitchy Sandwich Artist Our sandwich artist during this particular visit to Subway was either having a bad day, or is simply not a nice person. She started off with a tart tone of voice, that quickly progressed into an all-out disgust for life itself. The result: An explosion of maynaise that covered mostly her shirt, and not much else Instant karma much?! She was pissed. The best part is...
It is hard for me to comprehend the ineptitude of people sometimes. Even it illustrates the breakdown of communication and the need for change, it just plain sucks. *pout*
